Recovery University Scholarship Application

A limited number of scholarships are available for Recovery University applicants. These scholarships are available through funds that have been graciously donated by the families and friends of AU graduates and supporters who have passed away, the Voice Studio of Adèle Paxton and its students, and a general scholarship fund established by AU and its Board of Directors. It is our hope that these scholarship funds will be sustained from private and public donations to AU. To apply for one of these scholarships, complete and submit the form below.

IMPORTANT…PLEASE READ:

Applying for an RU Scholarship does not replace the Recovery University application. Even if awarded a scholarship, you still must submit the full Recovery University application (see Recovery University for details on applying for RU).

You only need to submit one scholarship application. Each application will be reviewed and evaluated by RU Staff and, if awarded, funds will be drawn from across all available scholarship monies.

Scholarships are available only to persons in recovery who reside in Connecticut.

If you are awarded a scholarship:

1). Funds will be applied directly to the fees for which you applied. If you are applying for partial funding, you will be responsible for submitting the remaining fees to Advocacy Unlimited;

2). You will be expected to make every effort to attend all RU classes, participate in class discussions, and provide feedback as appropriate.
