Welcome to Advocacy Unlimited's "i-Center"
This is the starting point of Mindlink's interactive sections, where visitors can interact with our agency as well as with other visitors through Discussion Boards, and Advocates can get in touch with one another and get the latest resources they need through the Advocate's Connection.
- AU Discussion Board
Participate in ongoing discussions with other Mindlink visitors on a number of subjects pertaining to mental health, the consumer rights movement, and issues that persons with psychiatric disabilities face.
- Shining Stars Forum
At the heart of "Shining Stars" is a 17-minute culturally sensitive documentary written by, directed by, and starring young adults and filmed by an award winning producer. Complementing the video is a web-based forum providing young adults and all site visitors the opportunity to dialogue with and ask questions of the four young adults in the documentary. It is an open forum allowing all visitors to submit topics or questions and to connect with one another for mutual networking, encouragement, and support.
- AU Transformation Forum
The AU Transformation Forum is a discussion board allowing persons in recovery and family members to provide input, ideas, and feedback regarding Connecticut's mental health system transformation and AU's involvement in transformation. Participation in the transformation process is welcome and highly encouraged. For more info and details, see AU Transformation Activities.
- Advocate's Connection
This section provides our graduate advocates the capability to communicate with one another, keep up-to-date on schedules and events, and get the resources they need to carry out their advocacy mission. This section is for AU Advocates only (password required).
