    Focus On Recovery-United, Inc. (FOR-U) is looking to fill a part-time Recovery Educator/Coach openings.

    FOR-U is a statewide consumer-run organization looking for a highly motivated person (lived mental health experience a plus) for our peer-to-peer recovery programs to work out of our Middletown Training Center. This position will require excellent communication skills to co-facilitate mental health recovery education groups, trainings and conduct presentations. Basic computer skills and office duties such as answering telephone, copying and preparation of group/presentation materials are also a requirement. A strong commitment to peer values and mental health recovery, sense of humor, flexibility, adaptability and openness to change are essential qualifications for this position. Trained Mental Health Recovery Educators/WRAP facilitators are encouraged to apply. Other applicants will be required to attend and successfully complete trainings. A valid driver's license and your own transportation are required (mileage will be paid) as you will facilitate groups and conduct presentations throughout the state of CT. 15 hours per week. Starting pay is $12/hour. Flexible schedule required.
