Applying for the Course
Advocacy Unlimited, Inc. is proud to offer one of the most comprehensive advocacy training courses in the nation for people with or in recovery from psychiatric disabilities or co-occurring disorders. Our acclaimed Advocacy Education Course provides advocacy skills training to persons in recovery throughout Connecticut.

See our Course Schedule for dates and locations. We encourage you to apply anytime, regardless of your location and whether or not you can attend one of the currently scheduled classes. Your application will be kept on file and when a course is scheduled near your location, we will contact you.
Graduates of AU's Advocacy Education Course can obtain 3 college credits at Housatonic Community College. Credit can also be counted towards the MERGE Mental Health Certificate Program should students decide to continue taking courses. Alternatively, it can count towards credit in the HCC Victim Certificate Program. See College Credit for details and how to proceed.
