2004 AU Retreat
The 2004 AU Retreat will be held on 9/23/04 - 9/26/04 at Killam's Point Conference Center in Branford, CT. Killam's Point Conference Center covers 55 acres of nature preserve located 20 minutes east of New Haven on the Connecticut shore. Please note, the next AU bi-monthly meeting will be held at the retreat!
Alternatives
The 19th annual Alternatives Conference, the only national mental health conference organized by and for mental health consumers and survivors, will be held from October 13 to 17, 2004, at the Marriott Denver City Center in Denver, Colorado. The theme of Alternatives 2004 - "Achieving the Promise of Recovery: New Freedom, New Power, New Hope" - was chosen to echo the title of the report of the President's New Freedom Commission on Mental Health: "Achieving the Promise: Transforming Mental Health Care in America."
Graduation
The 2004 class will graduate on October 22, 2004. Graduation will be held at CVH, Merritt Hall Auditorium. Stay tuned for more information!
